RECITAL RULES

  1. Be SURE to have your name in all your costumes, head pieces, & shoes. If something is left behind, we'll know who it belongs to.

  2. Please remove all temporary tattoos and nail polish. No jewelry unless otherwise advised.

  3. Bring extra hair pins and safety pins for any last minute repairs. Scissors are also helpful along with thread and needle.

  4. Dress rehearsal is the morning of Recital day (usually Saturday). All students need to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the actual curtain time of the dress rehearsal. Dancers should be back to the theatre one hour prior to open of actual Recital.

  5. All dressing rooms will be sepeated according to age and gender.

  6. Older dancers need full stage makeup. The young children need a little blush, lipstick and mascara because of the bright stage lights. All students must have their hair in buns and no bangs.

  7. If your child/children are only in the first half you may get your child/children from the shareholders' room at intermission.

  8. DO NOT GO INTO THE LOBBY OR AUDIENCE WITH COSTUMES, TAP SHOES OR BALLET SLIPPERS ON.

  9. As a courtesy to others in the audience and dancers on the stage, please refrain from exiting and entering your reserved seats during the dance routines. If you must do so, please wait until the dance is finished. The dancers have worked very hard and deserve to have the audience's full attention.
