Madelaine Heigele

was raised in Prairie Village and has a very active and spunky 3 year old boy. She has been in the performing arts since she was 3, where she began dancing at Betty Tilitsons Studio of the Dance and later went to Bellers Dance Studio. She has performed professionally with Starlight Theatre for 5 years and also performed at the Kauffman Center of Performing Arts all throughout middle school and  high school. She was a captain for Shawnee Mission East Lancer Dancers and performed in their theatre department.
Throughout High School she was involved with Stage Right Performing Arts in their Show Choirs; Vocalocity and Vocalicious. She also performed as Laurie in Oklahoma!, Cosette in Les Mis, and Anita in West Side Story with StageRight. She studied at Oklahoma City University where she received her BA in Vocal Performance and Musical Theatre. She Studied voice and vocal pedagogy under Dr Kelly M Holst and vocal coaching under Charles Koslowske. She played the Announcer in Gallantry: the Opera for OPERAtions, a lead vocalist in Rent, Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray!, and Hildy in On The Town for Oklahoma City University’s Mainstage Musicals. She was also a part of OCU POM where she received her title as a 2X NDA National Champion for Team Performance and Hip Hop.
As your teacher, Madelaine is committed to helping you discover your voice and talent cultivated through love, patience, honesty, and consistency. She loves all ages, shapes, and sizes and has worked with many kids with disabilities. Madelaine’s main goal is for her students to feel loved, welcomed, and for them to have a safe space.
